It’s not just the physical benefits you can get from exercise, but there are many mental and emotional benefits as well. Exercise also helps to boost your confidence and self-esteem, while reducing stress levels.

Exercise is something we do every day without thinking much. However, it could be beneficial if you take a few minutes out of your busy schedule to make an effort and go through some core exercises for kids that will help improve your health in different ways.

Core body exercises are meant to strengthen the muscles of your abdomen (abs) and back. They include a variety of movements like crunches, sit ups, leg lifts, planks, and more.

You might have heard of core exercises already, but they aren’t really common knowledge. It might even seem too hard to do them at times, but these exercises are actually very easy and fun!

Why is core body training important?

While doing any type of exercise routine for kids, it’s important to start with core exercises. These exercises help build the strength of your abdominal and back muscles, which are often overlooked by people who don’t want to spend time on their fitness routines.

These muscles help support your spine and keep everything in place. They also help you maintain good posture, so you won’t look or feel awkward when standing up straight. Your body will look slimmer and more toned, while having a toned core makes you sexier.

Your abs and back muscles also assist in keeping your organs in their proper places. This means that if they become weak, you might end up suffering from problems like heartburn, indigestion, constipation, or other related issues. If you suffer from back pain, it can be caused by weak abdominal muscles which can lead to further complications.

Repeat this process 10 times on each side, then switch sides to complete the set.

Here’s another exercise you can try:

Lie on your stomach and lift your right leg up off the floor. Hold your leg up for 30 seconds, then lower it slowly back down to the ground.
