My older brother Mike passed away suddenly last week, possibly a training accident with his horses, or even a heart attack, no one yet knows. He was 71 this year and still training race horses, his retirement I guess after a long period with polo ponies. We were all very envious that he was up with the best in the world, one of the toughest games, polo. Played polo for a living, all over the world, lucky bugger! He lived his life with horses.
Mike was best man at my wedding over 40 years ago.
Incidently, a funeral service is planned for friday, here:

Cootamundra is the birthplace of cricket’s greatest batsman, Sir Donald Bradman. This prosperous rural town surrounded by crops of canola is 360 km south-west of Sydney.
I will be there, fingers crossed.
Sorry, but no posts for a couple of days ’til I get back. I shoulda had an I-pad…

Will be thinking of you.
thanks ..
Very sorry to hear of your loss, Tom. And, in my tradition, I wish you long life.
Thanks Hilary. He died doing what he lived his life doing, living with, and riding his horses.
