I am an amateur ecologist/environmentalist that believes in the scientific method, not climastrology or its associated astrological theories on ‘carbon pollution’ or carbon tax by politicians and media.
I started and still operate a not for profit plant nursery, teaching volunteers and Green Corps participants in all aspects of conservation, energy and the environment from a point of view opposite to the usual green template.
I supply seedlings from locally collected species to government, developers, landscapers, nurseries, aboriginal communities, schools and mining companies in the Kimberley and Pilbara.
My background after leaving university, after 1 year in Agricultural Science, is in livestock agency, cropping machinery, fishing and fish processing, while the last 11 years I have been CEO of Kimberley Environmental Horticulture in Broome, Western Australia.
I am the author of 91 flora related columns called Pindan Post in the Broome Advertiser, up until 2008.
