Black As …

David Batty’s new comedy  mini series now up on ABC iView. The first five of 25 short videos featuring a remote Arnhem Land community and some local ‘youth’.

A great and very funny insight into their culture, way of life and how to do stuff in a very remote location:

Off beat, off track and online…go bush with the Black As boys as they venture into the wilds of Arnhem Land, hunting for adventure and a good feed.

David and his family once lived near me in Broome, was the film-maker for the popular series Bush Mechanics. (video.)

David’s late son Chris was one of the first Broome people that were a part of the current work on Environmental Rehabilitation that has kept me occupied for nearly two decades.

Congratulations, David Batty.
