plants communicating with everything else …

This is an interesting topic close to my interests, I was aware plants could ‘hear’ running water but this research goes way beyond that. Plants that ‘talk’:

Plants can communicate with several different kinds of organisms, says Cahill. “They talk to other plants, they can talk to parts of themselves, and they can talk to insects, and fungi and bacteria.”

Very clever. Read it all.

    There is research on plants being able to warn of grazing activities. S Africa as I recall. Could check references.
