thousand year weather lies … from the doomsayers

Meteorologist Dr Roy W. Spencer notes…
South Carolina flooding NOT a “1 in 1,000 yr” event. The Congaree River crested NINE FEET higher back in 1908.

But a once on 1,000 year event? Sorry, but there is no way to determine that…there are simply not enough rainfall statistics over a long enough period…

The ‘exaggerationists’ are at it again, turning a regular, but disastrous storm into ‘climate’ propaganda. A 1000 year storm my a**. Sorry for swearing but the loonies really have left the asylum. History does keep repeating itself! Thankfully, a few dedicated realists like Dr Spencer are around to put the story straight.

It’s high time all this climate bulls*** is put to rest. Stop the scammers! The doomsayers at Time, fact checked here too:

Satellite image shows South Carolina’s ‘Once-in-a-Thousand-Years Flood’ was due to a ‘complex meteorological event’

From the “more facts against the Mann” department. While claims of climate change swirl about from the usual doomsayers, such as this one from Time Magazine: Climate change is making rare weather events less rare At least nine people have died in flooding across South Carolina that has left city streets submerged in water, destroyed homes…

I stopped reading Time a couple of decades ago, when it became an extremist propaganda rag of the left. I cannot see any reason to change my mind either.
