Oz media’s Animal Farm …

1. Life is not fair. Get used to it.
2. Social justice is a commie scam. Read the drivel of Saul Alinsky and fight it with all you’ve got.
3. Nobody owes you jacksquat. You will either earn your own way, or feel like a helpless leech. There is no middle ground.
4. Economic equality is for sheep. If you really believe we are all equal in our capabilities you will go nowhere.

Speaking of sheep, the ABC do a good impersonation:

Be polite to sheep – or face investigation:

A case of alleged animal abuse in the far west of New South Wales has led to debate about whether sheep can comprehend human speech

It was alleged sheep were abused verbally during shearing.

Brilliant response from the farmer whose station was accused of the sheep rudeness:

For Ken Turner, who operates Boorungie Station, the obvious answer to the quandary was to ask the sheep themselves to corroborate the evidence.

UPDATE. A barnyard bar barney in the UK:

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals sent a letter to the oldest bar in Britain on Monday demanding that it change its historic name because “Ye Olde Fighting Cocks” is offensive to chickens.

Feral Green (Turkeys)

Turkeys and sheep: This is fantastic…

The world of dance has not witnessed such passion since Leopold “Butters” Stotch killed all those people.

UPDATE. A subsequent moment of clarity for Ben Eltham.

Bolt: But wait: the Government cuts arts funding and the result is actually more dance in the streets? There’s a lesson here for taxpayers.

Sadly, though, Eltham and the dancers are wrong. There hasn’t been a cut in arts funding, but merely a change in who doles out the dosh.

Greg Craven’s “race” mistake

Greg Craven thinks there is nothing radical in dividing us by “race” and creating a separate kind of Parliament for one:

Finally, a ‘barnyard barney’ over Kosciusko’s wild horses at ‘their’ ABC.
