Maurice Newman, on how climate ‘science’ has destroyed Australia’s manufacturing and damaged business:

But the madness of the crowds is waning and, as Mackay writes of the perpetrators: “Punishment is sure to overtake them sooner or later.” We can only hope it comes before most of us descend into serfdom.

Maurice Newman: Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Business Advisory Council , was Chairman of the ABC, and of the board of the Australian Stock Exchange. He was Chancellor of Macquarie University until 2008.

The Guardian doesn’t like it: Tony Abbott’s top business adviser accuses IPCC of ‘dishonesty and deceit’

Instead, they ramble about ALP and CSIRO and:

The CSIRO says confidence in projections is higher for some variables, such as temperature, than for others, such as precipitation.

The Labor party’s acting climate change spokesman said the extraordinary comments from one of Abbott’s closest advisers proved the Coalition was not serious about taking action on climate change and did not accept the overwhelming evidence of a changing climate.

“The prime minister must ask Mr Newman to withdraw his comments which damage Australia’s relationships with its trading partners, all of whom accept that climate change is real and are taking steps to reduce carbon pollution,” Neumann said.

Overwhelming evidence? Tell that to your Guardian representatives, there is overwhelming evidence they are stuck on stupid, and in ice!

One might argue that with photos like the one below, this whole “Spirit of Mawson” research expedition, is little more than a media stunt.
