The ‘I did nothing wrong’ defence was once again proven to be a fallacy. We keep hearing it from Labor Party ‘luminaries’. Pokiepleasures went there last year:
Gillard, Thompson, Wilson, Williamson did nothing wrong.
Now there’s a case for 300 more claims, all those who received cash filled envelopes from ‘I did nothing wrong’ Williamson to the tune of $600,000.
‘I did nothing wrong’ Thomson’s case is next, following ‘I did nothing wrong’ Wilson, and ‘I did nothing wrong’ Gillard’s case was adjourned yesterday.
After pleading guilty, Williamson faces up to 10 years in the slammer. He has also agreed to repay the HSU in a civil claim, about $5million big ones.
