damaging plant fungi … alert

Pests and diseases have always been a worry to horticulturalists. The latest involves a rust fungus that attacks Myrtaceae species in Eastern Australia. Pest alert – Myrtle rust.This disease has already caused the restriction of plant material into Western Australia. A seminar is about to be held in Perth to discuss quarantine details to try and stop further spreading:
