Scary cooling in the south…

Listening to ABC radio yesterday, another scary Antarctica is warming faster than ever…or at least the seas around are. Must be another Durban IPCC artifact, so I had a look …well, well, it’s colder than the 80’s, so where did the warming go?

Bob Tisdale has this graph and others

####################################

(14) Southern Ocean Sea Surface Temperature (SST) Anomalies

(90S-60S)

Monthly Change = +0.0 deg C

####################################

So what happens with the El Nino that Hansen predicted…nope, a La Nina still shows up. Hansen is getting good, 100% predictions so far all wrong, I wonder what will be next.

Bob Tisdale again: PRELIMINARY MONTHLY DATA

Based on the preliminary data, Monthly NINO3.4 SST anomalies are at -0.88 deg C, which is still well within the range of a weak La Niña, and we’ve only got a month or two before we reach the normal peak months for ENSO.
